Oumaan Technology Group Experts Entered Nangang District Yuejin Office To Launch Popular Science Education Lecture,Chairman Xu Jian On Stage
In order to improve the people's understanding of lightning disasters and preventive capabilities,Oumaan Technology Group entered the Nangang District Yuejin Office,to carry out mine disaster prevention and mitigation of popular science lecture.
Mr Xu Jian,chairman of Oumaan Technology Group and head of the Lightning Protection Technical Service Centre for the Electric Power Industry,gave a speech on the stage.
National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day was approved by the State Council,aimed at popularising knowledge and skills of disaster prevention and mitigation,improving public safety awareness and self-rescue and mutual-rescue capabilities,and building a strong people's defence line of disaster prevention,mitigation and relief.
China is one of the most serious countries in the world in terms of natural disasters,with many types of disasters,wide geographical distribution,high frequency of occurrence and heavy losses.China established the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day to remember the lessons learned and to promote disaster prevention and education.
The theme of this year's Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Day is:‘Everyone talks about safety,everyone knows how to respond to emergencies-investigate the hidden disasters around us’.
Lightning prevention and disaster mitigation should not be delayed
Lightning,as a powerful energy in nature,poses a major threat to people's lives and property.According to incomplete statistics,the number of people who die from lightning is as high as 4,000 per year globally,with an average of one lightning injury occurring every 13 minutes.
On 28 April,the China Meteorological Administration(CMA)announced the newly revised Administrative Measures for Lightning Disaster Prevention and Mitigation,to strengthen the digital supervision of lightning safety and promote the further implementation of the main responsibility for lightning safety.
In the National Disaster Prevention and Reduction Day is coming today,Oumaan Technology Group actively responded to the call of the state,into the Nangang District,Harbin City,Yuejin Street Office,to carry out mine protection and disaster reduction science and technology education activities.
Mr Xu Jian,Chairman of Oumaan Technology Group personally went on stage to explain the essence of lightning,the working principle of lightning rods,surge protection,equipotential connection,grounding devices,and other equipment,such as their respective roles and other general knowledge of lightning protection.

Director Lv of the security department of the Yuejin community presided over the meeting,focusing on the theme of investigating disaster hazards around the people and making guidance.
